Extract the zipped file to an easily accessible folder (Desktop or Documents).
From the unpacked folder "ND1000_3.8.1" run the following setup files - Need to use a compress/decompression tool like 7Zip for this.
1) ND1000/LVRuntime7/lvruntimeeng71.msi
2) ND1000/NI-VISA 4.4.1/setup.exe
3) ND1000/NanoDrop 1000 V3.8.1.msi
4) 64bitdriver/NanoDrip 1000 64bit Driver.msi
5) Now copy and paste the following text into a file called bosdescriptor.reg
; This file is needed to install NanoDrop 1000 under Windows 10
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\usbflags\245710020002]
"SkipBOSDescriptorQuery"=dword:00000001

6) add the created .reg file to the windows registry by double clicking it
7) Plug in the device
