Note this document is intend for EMS partners of SMPH and not supported by SMPH Shared Services IT
Shared Services IT users will get a push of the client with update security settings
The Update is scheduled to start on May 5th at 5pm and the service is expected to be down for 3 hours for the upgrade. Please do not update your client until the server is updated.
Check downloads folder and delete any EMSApplication.exe or emswebdeployconfiguration.cfg
Uninstall current EMS client, Start menu->control panel->uninstall a program-> select EMS
- Note you may need to work with your IT departmental to uninstall the EMS client
- Note the uninstall is needed to complete a security change
Click Download and Install EMS from https://smph.ems.wisc.edu/webdeploy/
Note this may be blocked by popup blocker, check the upper right corner of your browser to allow.
Also configuration file may be flagged click allow on the download
- Make sure you have downloaded both the EMSApplication.exe and emswebdeployconfiguration.cfg files
Run the EMSApplication.exe was downloaded
Wait for installation to complete
